Some of our team decided to upgrade Blender from the early 2.8x to Blender 3.2 directly, because it was several months before the release of Blender 3.2. I remember discussing with Andrew Nace not to upgrade to 3.2 because we did not have the resources to test everything thoroughly, and we didn’t know how much time we would have to complete testing. I asked Andrew to hold off a bit because I had been working on a release in progress and knew the work would take many more hours, than they expected. He was not happy with me for that, and he stuck to his guns. He is right, it was a bad decision to not wait. The community is better off for the 3.2 release, and we’re glad that we pushed through to get it to the public.

I have been a blender users since the early versions but i was afk from blenders development that is going that blenders 3d text tools are a zero, And not good not just that but they are getting worse not better…

Instead of making a 2.83 LTS and 3.0 something with a number 0.5, why not make it Blender 3.0 as LTS and 3.5 not as an official but a LTS and experimental? Because it would be ok if Blender drops in 3.0 with the experimental new release and stable and then comes 3.5 with new experimental just after that. This would be much clearer to users. If it drops with the experimental version of 3.0 and then comes 3.5 LTS. Even though there are bugs in the experimental. Its still much better then 2.83 LTS is just an experimental number so you never get any new features only bug fixes and 2.

good for beta versions: just use it for a while and see how it feels when you use it, and keep using blender afterwards. This makes it feel all the time working with new versions since the ‘0’ did.

the best way to do this is to install the latest version and use that, which is good if you know what you’re doing.
I don’t like how x.X is quite a long way from the previous version, so thats not ideal. Perhaps Blender itself should have a version numbering system, and if a blender instance exists, use the instance’s version number.

 { "version": 3, "python": { "string": "Python 3.8.0 (#1, Oct 17 2020, 16:40:57) [MSC v.1916 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32" }, "userpref": { "3d.frame_skip": 4, "file.archive.method": "zip_or_tar_new", "file.archive.overwrite": "True", "file.archive.path": "D:\Program files\Blender Foundation\Blender\data\addon_data", "path.

Another idea is to make the Blender version completely compatible with the major Linux distributions. In practice, it is already possible to integrate Blender on Linux; however, this work is made difficult because of the frequent breakages.

BLENDER IS A TOOL FOR STUDIES, THE STUDENTS, THE ARTISTS. PROJECTS LIKE BILLY'S CAVE WITH 3D TEXT, FABRIC SHOP WITH 3D TEXT, FABRIC SHOP WITH 3D TEXT ARE JUST TOOL FOR STUDIES, THE STUDENTS, THE ARTISTS, FOR ME. THEY ARE NOT FOR PROFESSIONAL USE.

Dear Ton
I can understand your concern about convering between formats, that's exactly what I use Blender for! Blender can handle conversion of many formats, its just that it has no proper interface for making the conversion process user friendly. This is something they could add, but I'm afraid they are too busy with business development in the studio. You might want to add support for a conversion utility to the roadmap.

Blender is used by architects, industrial designers, and artists, and now it has become an essential tool in many studios - even better, we've finally settled on a decision on a method for LTS to be released this year, and releasing an LTS version alongside, rather than in, the first release of the year (which would be the case if things stay as they are) would be a good idea. The team already has some ideas for features to implement in 3.2.1 (which will probably be released as an Alpha in September or October) and for the first LTS release, we hope we can get the team and the volunteers working on Blender 3D With Crack solid enough that a release could happen, be it Beta 1, or even RC1. Here are a few suggestions on how to better Blender users with Blender 3.2.1.
- There are still many features on the to-do list, but we try to give them priority order, and if they're popular (much more than on the development "To Do" list), then we get started on them. For example, we have a list of 30 features on the main Wiki page for 3.2.1.
- Important changes in Blender 3.2.1 are usually implemented first in the RC series - that gives us a chance to work out any issues early, and then roll them out to the development branch in the final release. So we strongly suggest you try to help testing when the RC series is ready. If you have spare time over the next couple of weeks, it would be helpful - do what you can to spread the word that Blender 3.2.1 has a planned LTS release in the 3rd quarter of 2020, and any artists/developers who can provide some public testing help and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
- Notes are good for keeping the developers informed of your wishes or needs with regards to certain features.
- If you're not sure what you can help with, keep an eye on the release notes which are written by the community manager and posted on the releases page. Especially the "What's New" sections.
- This year we switched from our current semi-planned release schedule to using "Alpha" versions instead of Beta versions. The aim of this is to let the users know that a program is still being developed, and still isn't quite ready for general use. The time frame for a release typically moves to a few weeks before the actual release, with a few months of testing "Alpha" and Bugfix releases before it is released. This will lead to a more stable release but will delay the release of the public version. Either way, your feedback is important!
