As a demo of Kontakt 6.7’s capabilities, I created a new session for the demo, slapped in a sound library, imported the samples into Kontakt and then auditioned it all, all with onscreen feedback on the process.
The effects and Reverb are amazing as expected from NI, and the drums are clear and loud. They do suffer though with the dramatic increase in CPU power required for sample-based audio, as Kontakt has about 10 times the number of tracks with the same size of sample as the previous version of Kontakt.
