Finally, the preview when you make adjustments via the Adjustments panel is now automatically resized when you resize your browser window. This makes creating HDR images much easier than in Adobe Photoshop, as there is no need to create a new layer, and an undo is always in reach.

Another issue I see is that Adobe has been slow in addressing the different raw formats. While its great to be able to create raw files for the most popular formats, its nice to have the ability to always have a good raw file for a new format. Its been only a few short years since the modern S-Log D format was created. Its been even shorter for the F-Log format and now the C-Log format is here. For the more experienced photographers that have a need for a RAW conversion, this is a good time to be around. For the newer photographers, its a bit tough, but with time and patience, its easy.
Regarding CMOS sensors, they are a major advantage for mirrorless cameras because they don’t introduce optical vignetting at maximum aperture. For many people, this is more important than a higher pixel density.
Using the long term A7RII X-Pro1 owners and myself, I certainly have already missed the original DRO setting in Camera Raw. How it changed the image completely and how it messed up my images, I cannot explain. I think, this setting already has a bad memory. Maybe the DRO is the only thing that does not work well and, if I am not mistaken, it also does not update itself or deliver the new settings, which I have tried several times. (It had been a setting, which has changed over time, but then Adobe forgot it in the next CC version. At least, I cannot find it in CC 2017). I just managed it, that the DRO settings are indeed correct (see above).
None of the copy/paste functionality seems to have been updated in Camera Raw 14.5 (Lightroom 13.6.6). Admittedly there is one functionality (the option to paste objects from LR into CR) that is handy when dealing with video files, but it’s not actually a functionality I’d want/expect. But if they add that I’d gladly use it.
